Kareem El
Founder
Kareem is the founder, CEO, and visionary behind 4RL and brings over 8 years of Strategy and Operations experience from the Marine Corps to Big Four Consulting and Tech. He also manages Merchant GTM operations at DoorDash HQ, is an executive MBA candidate at NYU Stern, and serves as a director on the board of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (he is the youngest director in the history of the organization). Kareem graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and was commissioned as an officer in the Marines immediately after. He served as a Logistics Officer, stationed in Japan and achieved the rank of Captain before he transitioned to Deloitte, where he advised federal clients on Strategy and Brand Risk. Kareem left Deloitte to Launch 4RL in 2021 and has since bootstrapped the development of a working MVP for the company's first product. Additionally, Kareem volunteers as the supervising producer for HoodSmart, an "edutainment" initiative focusing on redefining the image of urban Black youth. Kareem is a native Washingtonian and lives in the neighborhood he was raised in near the H-street Corridor in NE DC.
